Christmas Eve

This year we were able to spend Christmas Eve at Aunt Kathy's (Jake's dad's sister) in San Jose. We typically reserve this day to spend in San Jose (or Morgan Hill when dinner is at Uncle Mike's). Fun, food, family... do you need anything more? It was a long day for us and a late night for the kids. It was around 10pm by the time we got home and Shyla was ready to put out cookies and milk for Santa. She had a hard time going to bed, but once she did she zonked out! Just wait until the morning my precious child...

Great Grandma Fernandez with Jacob aka JD. It's always so sweet to see great grandparents with the little ones. He looks so happy too. He's a people lover (except for when he sees mommy on the other side of the room, then he wants to be with mommy).There was some time set aside to open presents for the kids. Jacob got a build-a-bear, clothes, and some learning toys. Shyla got dress-up Tinkerbell clothes, jammies, and electronic learning books. When she opened the Tinkerbell clothes, you can see it on her face in the picture, she said in such a sweet voice, "Oh my gosh!" What a sweetie!
