Happy Easter

We started the day off going to church and then when we got home having an easter egg present party on the front lawn.

While a few others stayed in the back and hid all the eggs for "the hunt".

When all the eggs had been found, we rounded up the troops and put all the eggs on the lawn. We divided them up equally so each kid received the same amount.

Inside we had fun things to do like dying real eggs!

Shyla is eating one of her eggs. It's the first hard boiled egg she's eaten. Now she's hooked.

I've never seen a child drink as much as Noelani did this day. She had soda, milk, water, and 2 different kinds of juice.

Who knew a vibrating toy truck would gather such a crowd?

The afternoon came to an end with Shyla getting her first boo-boo. Her cousin was coming up behind her to give her a hug and they both lost their balance and fell off a short retaining wall. A bump and scratch on her forehead is all. A few minutes later she was running around as if nothing had happened.

It was a fun day with great weather and we got to spend it with family. What more could we ask for?
