Ripon Emergency Car Show

We made a long trek out to good 'ol Ripon for their annual Emergency Car Show and Recruitment Fair. Even though the economy is bad there were still some agencies looking to hire.
Shyla really enjoyed getting to play inside some of the vehicles. Some had signs that read "do not touch" and those she didn't like, but there were a few that let kids go in. You can BARELY make out Shy's face to the left of the yellow sign in the window.
This was a photo op that was too good to pass up. Shlya is pretending to be handcuffed like the "dummy".
We were looking around for my dad before the emergency helicopter flew off. Shy adores airplanes and helicopters so I was glad there was a real one there for her to see fly away. I'm pretty sure it scared her a little bit being that it looked much bigger in person than it does when it's in the sky.
There was a Code 3 (lights and sirens) parade around town. It's a small town so the beginning cars were coming back before the end cars had a chance to leave. It was ironic when a firetruck came through that was actually an on call truck trying to go to a call. Since everyone already had their sirens and lights on the firetruck had to obnoxiously sound their siren. It didn't take long to realize they were going out on a real call for the cars in the show to move over.
