Tuesday

This morning didn't started off any better than last night ended. Shyla woke up with a 102.2 temperature, and I don't feel well either. My fever is still low and I'm hoping it disappears as fast as it showed up. For the most part Shyla is acting like she normally does, except that anyone that knows Shyla, she moves non-stop, and every once in a while she'd want to lay on either myself or Jake and cuddle. But after a few minutes, she'd want down and back off to running around she'd go.

She took 2 naps today and her second nap was from about 4pm to about 6:15 and at that time Jake went to wake her up. If he didn't, she'd wake up at like 9 and want to play. We took her temperature again and it was all the way up to 103.9. We called the doctors and they say we don't have to come in unless she's had the fever for 72 hours or if it's above 106. The nurse said it's normal for children to run high fevers without being as big a deal as if it happened to an adult.

We're still not sure if it's just a virus. We're fairly sure it's not a UTI, but the nurse suggested Roseola, which is common in young children. If her fever goes away tomorrow and then a rash breaks out... we have Roseola, if her fever goes down and no rash develops, then it's probably just a virus of some sort.

Oh, what a Tuesday!
