Swim Day

Hooray for swimming!

Today was an awfully hot day here in Antioch. I don't know for sure, but it was pretty darn close to 100 degrees at least. I'd say that's pool worthy. So after we finished working today and Shyla got up from her nap... we all played in the pool. Before we got in, Shy wanted to play in her wagon. Yes, it was found at a jobsite... does anything we have come from a store anymore??? :) She loves this thing. She likes to ride around in it just as much as she likes pulling it around the backyard.

Shyla got to enjoy the water more than usual today. She floated on the floatie tube thingys.

She hung on the side of the pool.

AND she floated around the pool in her raft. This is a big feat for her, because usually she just screams her head off if we take her off the step in the shallow end unless one of us is holding her. We pretty much just put her in it and pulled her around and she eventually realized she's safe and enjoyed it. I'm not sure why we didn't try that before, but it worked nonetheless.

Here's to more hot days so we can keep swimming in the pool. I absolutely LOVE having a pool let me just say. If anyone wants to come swimming just let us know. We can BBQ some hot dogs while we're at it!
